osada Jizerka, 468 50

A basalt mound Bukovec near Kořenov is lonely protruding from the granite massif of Jizera mountains.
The slopes of Bukovec are partially covered by original beech woods, rockslide fields are overgrown by elms and sycamore trees. A number of protected vegetal species are bound to the basalt bedrock. A nature trail passes through the nature preserve.
